Liz Hebert

Liz Webb Hebert is a lifelong resident of Lafayette Parish with a strong record of civic
leadership and public service. She is a graduate of Northwestern State University and
Teurlings Catholic High School and currently serves as Senior Director of Business
Development for Surgery Partners.

On the local level, Liz serves as Councilwoman for District 3 on the Lafayette City
Council. During her tenure, she has held key leadership roles, including Chairwoman of
both the Lafayette Public Utilities Authority (LPUA) and the City Council. Her
commitment to the community extends beyond elected office, having served on the
boards of the Leadership Institute of Acadiana, Acadiana Animal Aid, and 705 Young
Professionals. She is also the Past President of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana.
 

Liz’s leadership and professional accomplishments have earned her numerous
recognitions, including being named one of The Daily Advertiser’s Top 20 Under 40, The
Independent’s “Influencer of the Year,” a “Trailblazer of the Year” by Women Who Mean
Business, and an honoree of Acadiana Profile’s Women Who Make a Difference. She is
a graduate of Leadership Lafayette (Class 23) and has served as Chair of both the
Leadership Lafayette and Junior Leadership programs.
 

Liz is married to Aaron Hebert of Lafayette, and together they have a miniature
schnauzer named Murphy.
